Ani Aghjayan's talent and passion for creating delicious treats started in her early years. As a little girl watching her mother bake Armenian desserts, she was inspired, sparking a love for baking and cooking that would ultimately lead to the creation of her a made-to-order gourmet chocolate and cookie business La Vie en Chocolat.
As a newlywed, Ani started creating chocolate and cookies boxes as Christmas gifts. People loved her gifts so much that they started ordering. After her children were born, she took a break from chocolate making. During her hiatus, Ani went back to school and received a BA in Humanities and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Content Knowledge, graduating with two degrees.
Following graduation, Ani realized she could combine her two passions chocolate making and teaching. As one who loves working with children, Ani shares her love of baking, cooking and the cultures of the world with young students who are eager to continue learning outside the classroom.
