As a chef and cooking instructor now for over 15 years, Chef Elle’s focus is on providing the best service with the highest levels of client satisfaction.
Chef Elle delights in teaching her students about the importance of using fresh and local ingredients by demonstrating what a meal can be when is really comes from the farm to the table. “I never go to the market with a set menu – I let the market speak to me and the meal develops as I walk through the stands.” Chef Elle travels around to local farms and seeks out only the best seasonal ingredients available for her classes which are dedicated not only to the art of cooking but also to bringing out each student’s artistic creativity.

She relocated to Alpine, NJ from New York City in 2014 and is a proud mother of a 15 year old girl. Chef Elle also shares her passion for the culinary arts by hosting private dinners at her residence where she teaches her guests what she has learned about the art of living.

I founded Your Delicious Balance to share my passion and talent for sumptuous healing foods. I am a lover of tantalizing, beautiful plant-centered eating. I believe that food is truly one of the greatest pleasures in life and eating food that is healthy does not mean you have to sacrifice pleasure. I have transformed my health and vitality over the last eight years with the amazing effects of a whole foods plant-rich lifestyle. Ani Aghjayan's talent and passion for creating delicious treats started in her early years. As a little girl watching her mother bake Armenian desserts, she was inspired, sparking a love for baking and cooking that would ultimately lead to the creation of her a made-to-order gourmet chocolate and cookie business La Vie en Chocolat.

As a newlywed, Ani started creating chocolate and cookies boxes as Christmas gifts. People loved her gifts so much that they started ordering. After her children were born, she took a break from chocolate making. During her hiatus, Ani went back to school and received a BA in Humanities and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Content Knowledge, graduating with two degrees.

Following graduation, Ani realized she could combine her two passions chocolate making and teaching. As one who loves working with children, Ani shares her love of baking, cooking and the cultures of the world with young students who are eager to continue learning outside the classroom.
