KIDS COOKING KORNER
Participation w/ CATHY MC CAULEY, CCP
For many
years Cathy has been working with children, building a solid foundation
for their culinary interests. Cooktique’s classes emphasize kitchen safety
as well as basic techniques. The children prep, measure, cook and eat all
that they create. Please register in advance to ensure having
adequate food and supplies on hand. Classes are separated by age,
but special exceptions can be accommodated. All events at Cooktique are
drop off in nature. Parents return at the end of the session to pick
up the children. No exceptions. Please advise us at the time
of registration if your child has special needs or has food allergies.

Black and White: Cupcakes in the shape of Penguins and Panda Bears.

Dough Workshop: Mini Pizzas, hand shaped Pretzels and
decorated
Sugar Cookies.

Harvest Festival: Apples harvested and made into Applesauce,
Muffins and Chocolate/Caramel dipped Apple Slices.

Pre-Halloween Party: Spooky Cupcakes, Chicken Fingers, Tater

and Witches Brew Cider.

Dinner Menu: Slider Burgers, Mashed Potatoes, Corn and Fruit

We Welcome Scouting Groups
Bring your troop or den,
boys and/or girls for a cooking session and earn your merit badge at
Cooktique. Minimum of 10 children, 1 1/2 hour program, $25.00 per child– choice of two
menus-pizza or pasta.
Private Group Cooking Sessions:
Get a group of at least 6
- age
6 and up together and cook the recipes of
your choice. Choose from any class listed or create your own
menu plan for an additional fee. Available Mondays thru Thursdays only.
A)
From $30 per child, minimum of 6 children, ages 6, 7, 8 year olds,
a 1½ hour program
(and are are subject to being priced
according to difficulty.)
B)
From $35 per child, minimum of 6 children, ages 9 , 10, 11 year olds,
a 1 ½ hour program (and are are subject to being priced
according to difficulty.)
C)
From $40 per child,
ages 12 and up - minimum for 6 children,
a
1 ½ hour program (and are are subject to being priced
according to difficulty.
D)
Private Cooking Sessions: $150 for 3 - 1½ hour programs

BIRTHDAY PARTIES
at COOKTIQUE
C ooktique offers a unique opportunity for an unusual, fun-filled
Birthday Party. Our program consists of a two-hour long cooking session
for the Birthday Child and up to 16 friends. Depending on the size of
the group and the ages of the children, we offer a choice of two
different programs.
Regardless of menu, all of the children participate fully.
The two programs are:

the pizza party: homemade
Neapolitan pizzas, snickerdoodle cookies, chocolate cupcakes decorated
with butter cream frosting, and home-made pretzel shapes
or
for
the older child, and a smaller group, we offer the pasta menu: homemade
pasta; meatballs in a marinara sauce; snicker doodle cookies; chocolate
cupcakes that are decorated with butter cream frosting.
Both parties include a choice of soda or fruit juice box and if desired,
ice cream - vanilla or chocolate. It is a “Nut Free” party.

for
ages
12 and up - celebrate their Birthday with a small group of friends -
prices start at $40 minimum for 10 children, you customize the menu.
During the party the
children are taught some basic skills and techniques. We encourage
teamwork and cooperation as well as fun. The Birthday Child is called
upon to lead the group in all of the activities and all are reminded
that it's the Birthday Child's special day. The party, with everything
included, for a minimum of 12 children is $300.
Each additional child is $25.
Parties
are generally held on Saturday morning from 10 till 12 pm. or after
school during the week.
For parties held on Sunday (from 10 till 12 pm.) or after regular store hours
(ending after 6 pm.) add $5.00
per child. If a problem
arises that necessitates cancellation of a party, we will re-schedule.
Ages for the party start at 4 years old.
It is a drop off party and only the birthday child’s parents are
welcome to stay.
Other
parents return in two hours to pick up their children. A deposit of $100
secures the date.
All students must be
registered and paid in full in advance. No refunds for missed sessions.
Cancellations must be reported 3 days prior to scheduled class date.

Registration policy: payment must be made at the time of registration. All phone
reservations must be accompanied by a valid Credit Card Number (Master Card,
Visa, Amex or Discover). If you find it necessary to withdraw from your class
registration four days prior to the class, you will be given a refund. If a
cancellation occurs within the four days, you are welcome to send a substitute
in your place or you may request the recipes from the class. There will be no
refund if you cancel within the six-day period. The school reserves the right to
cancel a class at its discretion. While we welcome last minute attendees, it is
helpful to let us know five days prior to the date if you plan to attend so that
we may better prepare for the class in terms of food, recipes, assistants, and
placement.
Gift Certificates
Can't think of the perfect gift for that very special someone? Cooktique
suggests a Golden Gift Certificate. They are available in any denomination. Good
for merchandise or class.
NOTE: Please check in prior to the start of class to receive your recipes.
As a courtesy to all of our students our classes will start promptly at the
designated hour, so please be on time. We further request that all personal
talking is kept to a barest minimum, and that ALL CELL PHONES and BEEPERS BE
TURNED OFF.
